Virginia Farm Animal Sanctuary | Rescued Farm Animals In Central Virginia
Virginia Farm Animal Sanctuary (VFAS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit providing permanent, compassionate care for farm animals who need a forever home. Located in Concord, Virginia (near Lynchburg and Appomattox). This happens because people like you choose to stand with us.
Unlike rescues that focus on rehabilitation and adoption, sanctuary means a lifetime commitment. Every animal who comes to VFAS receives compassionate care, nutritious food, veterinary attention, and the opportunity to live the rest of their life in peace.

Your Support Makes Sanctuary Possible
Donations and sponsorships provide food, veterinary care, shelter, enrichment, and daily care for more than 250 pigs, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, and other farm animals who call VFAS home.
We’re proud to hold Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency, demonstrating our commitment to accountability and openness about our impact, leadership, and finances. When you support VFAS, you can give with confidence knowing your contribution helps provide lifelong sanctuary for animals in need.
